Zoom sur : Caudex Studio

Ceramics are making a comeback, it's official! But no question of being satisfied with granny's plates and bowls. Thanks to numerous designer studios, ceramics are entering the 21st century and adopting bold shapes and colors. The perfect example to illustrate this trend? The young Caudex Studio, founded less than a year ago in Brooklyn, which amazes us with its sculptural vessels.

Launched at the end of 2019 by the young ceramist Eloïse Larochelle - notably through the Givenchy workshop - the Caudex Studio produces pots, vases and other graphic containers in trendy colors. The vases are designed in two parts: a portion for the plants and a base lined with enamel to accommodate excess water.

Sculptural creations made of high firing clay located halfway between design and art object. But don't be fooled: the creations of Caudex Studio are indeed vases intended to decorate your interiors with a little greenery. And to push their concept a little further, the designers associate each container with a rare plant specially selected for this pot, and not another.

So, ready to make a little sculpture garden?
