Zoom sur : Caudex Studio

Ceramics is back, it's official! But there is no question of being content with granny's plates and bowls. Thanks to numerous designer studios, ceramics is entering the 21st century and adopting bold shapes and colors. The perfect example to illustrate this trend? The young Caudex Studio, founded less than a year ago in Brooklyn, which surprises us with its sculptural containers.

Launched at the end of 2019 by the young ceramist Eloïse Larochelle - notably passed by the Givenchy workshop -, the Caudex Studio produces pots, vases and other graphic containers in trendy colors. The vases are designed in two parts: a portion receiving the plants and a base lined with enamel to accommodate the excess water.

Sculptural creations made of high-fired clay located halfway between design and work of art. But don't be fooled: the creations of Caudex Studio are indeed vases intended to decorate your interiors with a little greenery. And to push their concept a little further, the designers associate each container with a rare plant specially selected for this pot, and not another.

So, ready to make a small sculpture garden?
