Charlotte kidger
Exhibited in early March at the latest edition of the Belgian COLLECTIBLE design fair, the British designer Charlotte Kidger has once again stood out with her objects that are as beautiful as they are responsible. A graduate of Leeds College of Art (2014) and Central Saint Martins (MA Material Futures, 2018), the young designer promotes ecological and sustainable design.

Marcin Rusak
Polish artist and designer Marcin Rusak is interested in eco-design and the poetry of objects. His latest collection, called "White Perma", traps plants in forms of hybrid resin. "White Perma" thus integrates buds, stems, petals and other leaves, from the waste of florists, in a white bio-resin, itself containing plant elements. This original series, which includes a semi-circular bench embellished with a side table, an “office” type set and a shelf, caused a sensation during the last edition of the Design Miami fair.

Chiho cheon
Korean designer Chiho Cheon designs a series of furniture with corrugated cardboard, cement and lacquer. Inspired by the homeless in Seoul (Korea), he thus reinterprets the materials of the station in his hometown and the makeshift accommodation of the less well-off inhabitants. If the “Criteria” collection appears as a positive and colorful whole, it also has a strong social dimension because it questions what the designer calls “the one-dimensional difference” between the homeless and those who have a roof.

Guillaume Neu-Rinaudo and Birgit Severin (Studio B. Severin)
Formed by the Franco-German duo Guillaume Neu-Rinaudo and Birgit Severin, Studio B. Severin defends a conceptual approach to design. Always conceived from a story, an experience or a research, their poetic creations approach the way in which objects take on meanings. Among their most emblematic works, we note the vases Vanitas, which are inspired by the life cycle of flowers, and the “Design Impressionism” series, which results from a reflection on the relationships between technique and creation.
