The Muller Van Severen studio, created by the Flemish designer couple Fien Muller - former photographer - and Hannes Van Severen - sculptor by training - is launching a collection of minimalist furniture with the same material as aluminum tubes.

The new “Alltubes” collection is characterized by repetitive and exclusive use of aluminum tubes, as well as by technical prowess and a refined style. Very worked with a surprising economy of means, these minimalist pieces of furniture - several cupboards, a bench and a chair - combine a taste for simplicity with a great technicality.

Despite its apparent coldness, the series constitutes a set of varied pieces with a formal design. The wardrobes do not have handles or door openings, while the bench and the chair are made of folded tubes, whose hinges and invisible joints mark the search for a style that is both beautiful and functional.

Presented for the first time by the Valerie Traan gallery in the third edition of the Belgian COLLECTIBLE design fair, the “Alltubes” series reveals the creative spirit of this talented tandem.
