The project imagined by the study and design office Apir for the Hotel Villa Igiea in Palermo was born from the meeting of two historical companies that combine the value of tradition and the strength of a contemporary identity, with a vision oriented to the future.

Located on the Gulf of Palermo, 2 km from the port and in a panoramic position, the Hotel Villa Igiea is an establishment of the Rocco Forte hotel chain.

By its fascinating history and its structural characteristics, the Villa Igiea project required an important involvement of Apir and a specific design in order to find the best solutions to combine the artistic and cultural heritage of the place with the conviviality expected from high-end hotels. The signage had to refer to the Liberty style and at the same time, had to be functional to allow guests to easily find all the hotel services.
