In Tokyo, Japanese architects Naoto Mitsumoto and Naoko Hamana from studio Miha Design have renovated this 71,5 square meter apartment to comfortably accommodate a family of 5. Deploying creative and clever solutions, Mitsumoto and Hamana save space and combine uses, in particular thanks to the addition of wooden modules. Between furniture and architecture, they partition the space and superimpose the functions without them interfering, as in children's bedrooms where the desk slips into a mini-mezzanine suspended above the bed.
