Moquette chauffante et nanotechnologies

A Polish researcher currently working on the integration of nanotubes in the carpets. Experiments that could soon allow the production of carpet heating powered by a single battery 12 volts.

Researcher at the Jan Długosz University of Czestochowa, leading research center in the field of nanotechnology, Jerzy Peszke working on the integration of carbon nanotubes to polymers used in the manufacture of carpets. The nanotubes are very good conductors of heat, all would only require a low power for use as a heating system. This research thus possible to imagine in the near future the production of heating and very energy efficient floor coverings.

Jerzy Peszke also note that is not at his first attempt. Indeed, thanks to his previous research, industrial production of highly bactericidal linoleum made through integration of nano-silver should start soon.
