Bureau Fraai : Amsterdam Urban Loft

The designers of the Dutch studio Fraai Bureau led the dress transformation of a small apartment located in the attic of a building in Amsterdam city center. The project opens and connects spaces with wooden furniture posed tape along the walls of the apartment.

The apartment has first been cleared of all its doors and unnecessary walls. The living space was designed as a single unit and offers light and fluidity throughout the apartment. Bedroom is still nestled inside an alcove enclosed and protected by a new wooden furniture. Designed birch plywood, it deploys a long wall cabinets and shelves and discreetly houses a bathroom. The protuberance thus formed divides the surface of the apartment into two areas, one is dedicated to the kitchen and one in the lounge.
