Studio Y : MEZZ

In a shopping center in the trendy Chadstone district of Melbourne, Australia, there is a sun-drenched tropical oasis: the MEZZ restaurant and bar. Designed by the interior designers of Studio Y, the place is like the Caribbean islands, warm.

On the top floor of a temple of consumption is an immense longitudinal restoration space of more than 300 square meters bathed in light, thanks to a vast glass canopy and two gigantic picture windows located on both sides of the temple. establishment. This abundance of sunshine is a major source of inspiration for the project.

A tropical and relaxed atmosphere takes place, especially through a garden shed in the center of the restaurant, all light wood clad bar and kitchens. Around this central island dressed with ceramic tiles printed with lush vegetation and other exotic animals, are scattered tables and seats in wood and wrought iron pastel colors. Wicker wicker chandeliers and gigantic rope macrame walls are a nod to the craftsmanship and maritime culture of the Caribbean.

An ideal place to feast before continuing shopping!
