Stephanie Lizee et Constance Gennari : The Socialite Family

In 2013, the French-Italian design enthusiast Constance Gennari imagines a new concept to present her inspirations: to photograph families in their own - beautiful - apartments. Six years later, what is on the internet with more than 160 000 subscribers on Instagram materializes in a shop located rue Saint Fiacre in the 2ème arrondissement. Do you dream of the salons and other penates presented on The Socialite Family website? They are now at your fingertips!

Between iconic pieces and personal furniture, the boutique The Socialite Family mixes genres and inspirations, ranging from the palaces of Milan (Italy) to the flea of Saint Ouen. If the platform seduces on the web for several years and includes - in addition to its photo reports - an online shop, the idea of making a physical and perennial place is more recent. "I had wanted to open a shop for several months so that our community could discover our furniture, touch it and understand it. " entrusts the founder and artistic director of the site, Constance Gennari.

It is now done with the first address of Paris Socialite Family, designed four-handed by Constance and Stephanie Lizee, interior designer who has been the subject of several articles on TSF. Through this space of 80 square meters, the designers import a bit of Milan in Paris with an aesthetic directly inspired by the entries of Italian buildings of the 1960 years. Terrazzo, marble and brass rub shoulders with wide leather sofas, warm textiles and caned chairs, as a synthesis of the many influences that have marked the founder, between transalpine design and French art de vivre.

"From the Murano vase, to the grandmother's sofa Nonna, to the Milano chair ... I could tell you about each piece presented here. " Constance Gennari, Artistic Director of The Socialite Family

If this is the first real store of The Socialite Family, the address is not yet unknown to them since 12 rue Saint-Fiacre had already hosted their pop-up store in 2015. Far from being chosen at random, the district, a veritable crossroads of influences between trendy addresses and tramps of the popular district, is just like the furniture on offer in the shop.

A blessing for all those who could not go to Milan Design Week.
