Prada : Hyper Leaves

Who says shopping can't be an architectural experience? Surely not the managers of the Italian luxury brand Prada who put their suitcases last month at the Galeries Lafayette in an unusual setting. Back on a scenography work like no other.

After moving to Printemps Haussmann last September, Prada was able to offer its customers a unique experience a few steps from its former residence: the “Hyper Leaves” project. Staged in a vibrant setting, the elements of the spring-summer 2020 collection take place in two pop-up pop-up stores that energize the iconic Parisian store.

The first step in this high-end stay? The installation of 15 showcases reinterpreting nature in a contemporary whole inviting to luxury. Variations of neon green embellished with the famous triangular logo of the brand, which can also be found everywhere in sales areas.

In the men's section there is a monumental baobab made of painted wire mesh and covered with green neon lights when, for women, it is a carousel designed in the same conditions that welcomes customers from department stores. Colossal installations that stand in a 77 square meter staging where nature seems to reclaim its rights. Backlit wallpapers in the background, oversized leaves that serve as displays and colorblock floors constitute the decor of this ephemeral boutique, unfortunately closed today.

A unique experience.
