The tour of the good Parisian tables seems endless! And yet, adding to a list already long, the Marsan Hélène Darroze stands out. A temple of gastronomy that takes place in a clean setting signed Patrice Gardera. Warm woods, a simple palette and contemporary furniture invite the gourmets of the capital to enjoy a culinary and architectural experience with Southwestern accents.

The famous 4 rue d'Assas (6th arrondissement) of Hélène Darroze is revamped in the colors of her native south-west. Renamed Marsan, the new fief of the starry leader is signed Patrice Gardera who imagines here a place with elegant sobriety and resolutely contemporary decor. At the head of an agency located between Paris and Biarritz (64), who better than a child of the country to understand the expectations of Hélène Darroze?

"She is a simple woman, (...) very rooted in her country, which is also mine. However, we did not want to fall into the regionalist mood! And even less in the fashionable decor. " Patrice Gardera, architect

Thus, rather than launching into a setting of Férias, the client builds on natural materials and a work of light marked, declining the different aspects of the Landes. On the ground floor, it is the large forests of the region that are highlighted. Large cork oaks as wallpapers, family table six meters long and bright suspension evoking branches make up this first space with an intimate and subdued atmosphere.
On the first floor, the dining room takes off and invites diners to eat in one of the rare clouds populating the clear sky of southern France. Organized around a counter in the organic silhouette covered with wood and marble, the room offers a set of round tables surrounded by comfortable chairs with cream leather seat. Enhancing a neutral gray carpet, many brass elements are scattered here and there, taking the form of clean columns or delicate street lamps.

A feast for the eyes and taste buds !
