In Barcelona (Spain), in the Gràcia district, the AMOO architectural firm has just renovated a 60 square meter penthouse.
Nestled on the top floor of a historic Barcelona building, the Providència penthouse, renovated by Aureli Mora and Omar Ornaque, is a rectangle divided into two distinct spaces.
Going against tradition, the architects have created a very contemporary apartment by reversing the distribution and the usual functions of each of the rooms in the penthouse. At the request of the owner, the contractors knocked down the partitions, then opened up the space. The bedroom, now equipped with a bathroom and a dressing room, is a large space of privacy. Bright and spacious, the living room is a modular and multifunctional living room, which brings together the office, the living room, the dining room and the kitchen. The comfortable benches and bookcases enhance the warm atmosphere of the room. The Ionic pillar in pink marble, veneered on the edge of the supporting wall, brings a touch of originality to the space.
