In Porto, Portugal, the Costa Lima Arquitectos agency has just delivered an apartment of 181 square meters which stands out for its atypical layout.

Located in an apartment building dating from the early 1970s and well oriented, the Campo Alegre apartment enjoys a remarkable exposure and offers breathtaking views of the Douro River.

For demanding owners, the architects carried out an ambitious renovation project. They introduced changes in the configuration of the interior space, thus enhancing an atypical layout. The interior space, now open and bright, consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room and a functional kitchen.

By focusing on materials, the architects completely redesigned the interior space to give it the functionality and contemporaneity it needed. The renovation thus favors light as well as circulation so that the apartment becomes a welcoming space adapted to the lifestyles of a family.
