The ICI Wasquehal community of craftsmen (Make ICI network) located in the heart of the Ateliers district in the Lille metropolitan area, was chosen by Bouygues Bâtiment Nord-Est to carry out the layout of its new head office in Marcq-en- Barœul.

The project consisted of the design, construction and installation of a convivial space, the "Home Corner", the reception desk, a continuous plan, a platform and 4 gratings.

The Home Corner includes a central island in Valchromat (medium tinted in the mass) and oak surmounted by a metal grating, a kitchen with oak worktop and credenza with a pattern machined with a CNC milling machine, a coffee corner , a running plan in oak and metal legs and a platform overlooking the terrace.

In addition, with a concern for process circularity and the reuse of materials, the ICI Wasquehal teams have upcycled the furniture from the former headquarters: tops of oak cupboards and cork covering of technical cupboards.

This project is part of a partnership with LinkCity, a subsidiary of the Bouygues group, the result of the group's desire to support artisanal and ultra-local manufacturing. ICI Wasquehal is indeed less than 4 km from the new headquarters.
