The project was to renovate an early XNUMXth century house in the Bubeneč district of Prague. As key points of the design of the places: the interconnection and the compactness of the whole. An objective achieved thanks to the playful use of certain materials, colors and textures which have played a major role here.

As prerogatives of the customers: a cement tiled floor with a four-pointed star motif, a very modern, minimalist, luxurious and warm layout.

The apartment, which originally consisted of very small rooms, as was often the case at that time, underwent several adjustments in its plan. First, the removal of a wall allowed the creation of a central space and created the beating heart of the place. As dominant elements of the living spaces: the subtle colors but also the clean and regular lines of the atypical furniture.

The apartment has a range of lighting promoting warm atmospheres while highlighting the exceptional furniture. Among them, the Stella coffee table by Jiří Krejčík, the Roly Poly armchair or the legendary Togo sofa…

The hallway offers a completely different look thanks to a set of mirrors imagined by the architects and tiles in shifting hues, from medium gray gradient to mustard ocher via powder pink...
