"Gen" is a wall covering ceramic designed by Patxi Cotarelo Alberto Bejerano and the Spanish studio Dsigno for Peronda manufacturer. A series of luxurious rooms and reliefs to imagine his own motives in 3 dimensions.

The modular system allows a minimum of elements to create many combinations and geometric compositions. The user is then free to give expression to their imagination to design a wide variety of forms in a deep game, with lights and shadows. Through their simple and minimal forms, ceramic tiles "Gen" allow to give topography and motion wall mounts that receive them.

On this project, the studio Dsigno says his approach:

"Peronda DSIGNIO Asked to design a new collection of wall covering for icts brand Harmony, qui is commercialized in more than sixty countries, showing icts own style and personality.

The designers-have-been totally free During the process of creation. The only requirement Was That the final design shoulds be a concept quite different from the collections of --other icts own firm or from Those of the competing companies.

DSIGNIO tried hard to Develop a modular system Whose geometry allowed to make up Several patterns with a minimum of elements, something similar to what kind Does icts with genes, qui combine to create different genomes and different species.

The result is GEN, qui is more than a piece of wall covering. It is a way of covering walls, Offering a great variety of shapes. Dozens of combinations offer amazing visual games, with lights and shades. "
