Influenced by the design and furniture of the 1950 years, the Italian brand Tacchini, in collaboration with the Swedish designer Jonas Wagell, designs Julep, a range of seats with generous and enveloping forms.
Including an 102 87 deep and 75 height armchair, a sofa whose dimensions may vary (from a three-seater version, 235 x 123 x 75 centimeters, to an 169 x 132 x 75 Island format) and an 68 ottoman x 68 x 43 centimeters, the set is characterized by soft and voluptuous silhouettes, declined in pastel colors. Julep offers us a trip back in time and propels us close to 70 years back, in a universe where we almost manage to hear Elvis Presley sing and where we then took place in the famous 831 Armchair drawn by 1954 by Gianfranco Frattini.
Born from the association of Transalpine publisher Tacchini and one of the young hopefuls of Scandinavian design Jonas Wagell, the collection brings up to date the round and comfortable seating. Each element is made from a plywood structure on which is upholstered a polyether foam covered with fabric or leather available in a wide range of cool and retro colors.
A collection that seamlessly combines contemporaneity and nostalgia.

The choice of the editorial staff
The generous curves of Julep have seduced the editorial Muuuz who awarded him without hesitation the Muuuz International Award 2018 category Furniture / Assisi.
