A true tribute to this Mediterranean ray, the Mobula collection succeeds in the challenge of reintroducing life and movement into workspaces in general. A whole art of poetry and line perfectly mastered by Designheure ...
Mobula is thus inspired by the courtship display of these large rays with triangular fins, known for their impressive jumps out of the water. It is this dynamic and liveliness that Designheure infuses into its collection. The volume is revealed through the grazing lights and backlights in a scenography of shadows and lights with resolutely poetic allures. The side reminders in colored felt energize the whole, with a noticeable perspective effect.
Thanks to their airy and organic design, the pendant lights become timeless and fit everywhere (office, residential and hotel industry). Their scenographic capacity allows them to be either assembled in line, with several modules, - they thus adapt perfectly to the configurations of the workspaces and the number of offices to be lit - or independent of each other, playing on the different sizes. They then create a decor suggesting a school of flying rays.
On the inside or outside, the magic is also created thanks to the range of finishes offered both in terms of the aluminum structure (lacquered white, or metallic fabrics in light gold, silver, copper) and the side felts.
Designed for professional lighting, this dimmable pendant offers a very good quality of light for a very high efficiency as well as a very good color rendering CRI = 90+.
Since 2005, Designheure has been creating contemporary lighting 100% Made in France. In the world of light, the brand embodies a certain idea of French elegance, signing timeless and high-end creations with a tailor-made offer. As simple as it is uncluttered, the design of the Mobula pendant light was nevertheless born from a work of goldsmith. The requirement in detail, and ultimately the birth of an almost art object earned the piece to be the winner of the Muuuz International Award 2021 in the “Lighting / Suspensions” category.
