Kanopee Design is a passion for beauty and ethics. At a time when climate change calls for a transformation of our modes of production and consumption, the young company intends to play its full part in a rapidly changing world by offering resolutely eco-responsible objects.
Did you know ? Between 2008 and 2018, furniture imports increased by 20%.
And China is unsurprisingly one of the most important exporting countries, which of course raises the fundamental question of the pollution generated by these imports from the other side of the globe.
Faced with this observation, some French brands such as Kanopee Design are committed to creating and producing products that respect the environment, respecting the expectations of those looking for unique and meaningful objects.
The young brand of cabinetmaking offers original creations, tables, consoles, lamps and pictures: alternately functional or purely aesthetic.
Unique and eco-responsible creations produced in the Kanopee Design cabinetmaking workshop. Each of its creations is unique: Sébastien Dubreuil, its founder, never ceases to push back its limits and explore shapes and materials, imagining infinite variations on each theme. Handcrafted, from design to finish, in its workshop in Vendée, the brand was built around strong values: quality, with handmade furniture in a process of excellence, going hand in hand with respect for the environment.
Indeed, all the wood used comes from sustainably managed forests and bears the FSC Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) label. Varnishes and finishing products carry eco-labels, and epoxy resin is made from flax, rapeseed or soy.
