For its new London shop, Issey Miyake called upon the Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka, with which the brand has worked for over 20 years.

This new clothing store is located in a former bank of London's Mayfair. The designer Tokujin Yoshioka has completed the interior design and furniture of this vast space 500 m². The designer was inspired geometric collections of Issey Miyake. Tokujin Yoshioka has implemented big blue panels in anodized aluminum for some walls, exposed concrete pillars and a concrete floor poured in six layers. Regarding the furniture, "ELEMENT" tables, designed by the same designer for Desalto, serve as displays for clothing. The designer has also created a pouf " Ottoman Brook "And a new headquarters" Brook Stool "published by the Italian company Moroso specifically for that store. The seat of this stool was performed using the same method as used for bags and clothing brand Issey Miyake to create a faceted effect on the padded surface.
