From September 3 to 10, 2016, Paris Design Week transforms the capital into a huge treasure hunt. For its sixth edition of the Maison & Objet fair, Paris Design Week invites professionals and the general public to discover in 200 places and 7 walks the best addresses of design in Paris as well as the avant-garde of the discipline.
4 sectors, thematic 7
Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the triangle of Les Halles, the Marais and the Bastille, Stalingrad and Barbès to the Opera, the Concorde or the Étoile, new banners Paris Design Week mark out places over 200 , museums, schools, galleries, concept stores where design exposes himself. A color code identifies 7 themed walks: Art, Fashion, Food, Project, Know-How, or Upcycling Design Make It So, 2016 novelty dedicated to makers and fab-lab.
Now! Off to the Docks
highlight of the Paris Design Week, the City of Fashion and Design presents a hundred emerging designer and publishers around the world, selected for Rado Star Prize to be awarded on September 8 Elodie Rampazzo for its Nomad console. The Grand Foyer des Docks also hosts six projects around the linen presented by four schools under the leadership of the CELC. The week will be marked by various Talks, led by Chantal Hamaide, editor of the magazine Intramuros.
