PDW : Le collectif FFD : Coupe de France de design

Created by designer Piergil Fourquié with the help of Pierre Dubourg and Elise Fauveau, the French Federation of Design participates in 2013 edition of the Paris Design Week. For this first participation is at the Carrousel du Louvre, in the inverted pyramid that the FFD is organizing this "sporting event" design. On the theme "Black & Wood / Wood & White", two teams 11 designers who will compete in a creative competition.

Each designer has created one or more objects of wood and wearing the color of the team, black or white. The typology of imagined objects is extensive and covers a wide spectrum of the coat rack in the mirror through the toy and the light, the designers of each team have left their talk inspiration.
Coming from different backgrounds, members of the collective address all facets of the design in a competition that will result in the first cut of France design. To determine the winners, voting is open to all and available on the FFD site.

The participants :

Captain of the Black Team: Elise Fauveau
Black Team: Linda Bayon, Bertrand Besnard, Lili Cheng, Lionel Salazar Dinis, Piergil Fourquié, Jonathan Le Monnier, Joseph Meidan, Charles Seuleusian, Quentin Simonin.

Captain of the White Team: Pierre Dubourg
White Team: Maxime Abela, Alfredo Da Silva, Mickaël Dejean, Jacopo Ferrari, Pascal Hien, Segolène Huet, Romain Jung, Emeline Lavocat, Marta Polenghi and Judith Schachermayer.
