PDW : Romain Pascal : Lampe Cradle

French designer based in London, Romain Pascal makes us discover his table lamp "Cradle". Both table lamp and empty pocket, it will be presented at the Paris Design Week in 2012 few days in Paris.

"Cradle" consists of a low cast concrete, to a suspension of aluminum cut by laser and a lampshade made of sintering polyamide powder.

Romain Pascal says:

"Cradle is an empty pocket lamp to be placed on a console or shelf in an entry to leave personal belongings (keys, money, wallet, phone) .It is the result of research on material combinations and fonctions.Le of concrete from the base, construction material used sensitively contrast matte white finish and the shade jourL'abat day is just hanging by the thread and can be held in a groove of the aluminum structure. hook of the hanger, it can be used as portable lamp, for example for lighting by searching his bag.
