A lighting system for urban development to volume suitable, circular
The Anello born as part of the renovation project of the historic center of the city of Poitiers, for which the designer Marc Aurel designed the lighting of public spaces, by imagining a machine whose appearance is austere or purely functional but can instead fit harmoniously in the design of squares and gardens, almost as if it were a familiar object in visual space.

A lighting system for urban development adapted to the volume of circular shape, inspired by a great ring to major banks, the surface has a set of geometries: the structure of the optical group is made of cast aluminum black bright with an external display, transparent polycarbonate and internal decorative elements of pyramidal shape, which generate a particular optical effect.

The Anello is equipped with LED sources, and is available in two versions: one for direct general lighting (down), the other with a direct / indirect emission (up / down). The indirect upward emission occurs through a four modules of five LEDs, adjustable to 30 °, allowing to highlight the surrounding elements. The number of modules can be changed on request (one to four). General lighting is provided by a group of optical monochromatic warm white LEDs. For lighting of decorative elements, neutral white LEDs have been chosen to create a contrast.

The manufacturer-designer duo, played by Adolfo Guzzini & Marc Aurel, Janus received her during a ceremony in the Senate on Monday, January 27 2014.

Born in 1989, the French subsidiary of iGuzzini revolves around a technical and commercial team of specialists, present throughout the French territory, and a project service that can perform the most varied lighting projects (commercial spaces, museums, restaurants, hotels, offices, stations, airports, outdoor facilities, street lighting, street lighting, etc.). A total of forty people working together in the service of light, Paris and in the provinces, in close collaboration with architects, designers, landscape architects, urban planners, lighting designers and engineering offices. Since 2004, offices and showroom iGuzzini France are in the Bastille district, known to be the playground of culture, design and contemporary art. The project's Paris headquarters of iGuzzini signed Pier Luigi Copat, took place in a building dating from the early twentieth century. The surface of some 1300 m2 is spread over four floors; basement showroom, whose concept was developed by Maurizio Varatta; floors, offices and conference room for up to 40 people. At the entrance of the premises, an innovative vertical garden designed by Patrick Blanc welcomes the visitor in this universe of light.
