Isidore Leroy presents his new collections Isii Baji by Abel Rodriguez and Casa tropical by Filipe Jardim. Two ranges of panoramic wallpapers to invite us to discover the worlds of two exceptional artists.
The Isii Baji collection comes from the collaboration with the artist Abel Rodriguez also known as Don Abel. Born among the Nonuya in 1944, Abel Rodriguez was trained by his uncle in the knowledge of traditional botany. In the 1990s, due to violent unrest in the region, he had to move to Bogotá where he developed his painting practice. Today his work is internationally recognized by artists, curators, and scientists. The Maison Isidore Leroy was immediately seduced by the artistic and cultural importance of his paintings, and it is particularly happy and proud to participate in the knowledge and dissemination of his work to a wider audience.
For its part, Casa Tropical is the result of the collaboration with the Brazilian artist Filipe Jardim, whose sensibility asserts itself for fashion and travel. The decor proposed here plunges us into a colorful universe imbued with modern and luxurious architecture. It thus mixes the structured lines and the abundant vegetation of alocasia leaves. A futuristic plant painting.
