After 4 years of work, the Pullman Paris Montparnasse, the largest business brand of the Accor group in Paris and in Europe, located on the left bank of Paris, in the heart of the Montparnasse district, has just reopened its doors.

The architecture and design studio CUT Architectures is responsible for the complete metamorphosis of this 115-metre-high, 32-storey hotel, which has the highest open-air rooftop in Paris. The Pullman Paris Montparnasse embodies the expression of a multiple living space, in tune with new ways of living and working, generating a high-end and unique art of living.

For this reinvented place adopting an “urban architecture”, an open space was imagined, breaking with the vertical and divided architecture of the district. A concentric reading of the spaces then takes shape, which alternates zones of connection and breathing.

Through this starting point, there is a desire to liberate the volumes, to remove it from partitioning, to open up new perspectives. With the circle, a permanent interconnection is established, and a cosmic vision of space is written, capable of taking travelers to a new destination. A bias visible in all parts of the hotel, from the lobby and its circular ceilings, to the details of the lighting in the rooms, to the large structures of the ballroom, the hotel's event space.

An atmosphere that we owe to Yann Martin and Benjamin Clarens of the CUT Architectures agency, who have carried out numerous projects for apartments, houses and extensions. In addition, the duo is experiencing a crazy and international success which imposes their graphic signature from Paris to Reims to Japan! And tomorrow, the Middle East with the first destination, Qatar….
