A journey of sight and touch, in the Najd desert: here is the eponymous collection created by the architect and designer Tristan Auer, edited by Lelièvre Paris.
More than a hundred years of know-how in the edition and creation of exceptional fabrics on the one hand, an esthete and internationally renowned designer on the other for an artistic dialogue that makes sense.
On the strength of a first collaboration in 2020 - through a Premier Acte capsule collection, edited and produced by Red Edition - Tristan Auer and Lelièvre Paris are renewing the experience with this invitation to travel for which one cannot find better guides.
Like their respective creativity and meticulous craftsmanship, the collection reflects harmony and escape through matter.
To create the fabrics of Najd, Tristan Auer drew his inspiration from the colors and contours of the traditional architecture of the region of the same name, in Saudi Arabia.
A desert region marked by natural and clay colors; buildings embellished with vertiginous geometric shapes, like the moucharabieh; the collision of strict structures with the random curve of the desert and its endless dunes.
It is from this warm duality that Najd was born, a collection designed for seats and curtains which, from cotton jacquards to linen and high-performance fabrics, makes the fabric speak in all its diversity.
