A graduate of HEC, a former banker and consultant in the energy sector, Thierry Lepercq is now at the head of Solaire Direct, the leading French electricity operator dedicated to solar energy. Founded in 2006, her company offers owners the opportunity to equip their roofs with solar panels free of charge and thus produces energy that it sells directly to EDF.

Finally Solaire Direct ensures the installation of technical equipment and its maintenance. Attracted by such an offer, 100 owners are already equipped in the south, 700 others are waiting and the company plans, in time, to equip homes in the northern half of France.
Figures and outlook
Far from falling asleep on his laurels, Thierry Lepercq is leading the development of his company on different fronts. The company is thus embarking on a program to build solar power plants. The first, planned in the Var and located on agricultural land, will include no less than 22 solar panels for a production of 000 MWh. The construction of a photovoltaic cell plant is also underway in South Africa, another in the south of France for the production of roofs with integrated solar panels. With 4 million euros in turnover in 2, 2007 expected this year and 45 in three years, Solaire Direct never ceases to seduce ...
