For their latest furniture collection called “Connection”, the duo of the design studio Estudio Persona imagines sculptural pieces in sober tones in wood, metal or mohair fabric.

Settled in the United States after growing up in South America, two Uruguayan designers, industrial designer Emiliana Gonzalez and artist Jessie Young, founded their studio in 2014 in Los Angeles (California). Together, they work from industrial or organic materials, and draw chairs, armchairs, lighting, tables or objects, whose natural colors and clean lines are inspired by their native Uruguay. The pieces from their latest collection demonstrate their desire to enhance the image of South American design.

For "Connection", Emiliana Gonzalez and the artist Jessie Young favored solid colors, beautiful materials and simple shapes. The series thus brings together coffee tables in light or dark wood, comfortable chairs and armchairs dressed in green or orange mohair fabric respectively, as well as a lamp in blackened steel, also available in brass.

With these new creations, Emiliana Gonzalez and Jessie Young once again seduce collectors and galleries.
