It is on the occasion of the last COLLECTIBLE fair in Brussels (Belgium) that we discovered the work of craftsman and fellow carpenter Timothée Musset, who shapes old woods to create contemporary furniture.

With his experience as a carpenter, Timothée Musset launched Atelier Musset to give a second life to old structural timbers. Installed in an old barn in Videlles (91), Atelier Musset does art cabinetmaking, and promotes a responsible approach to design and materials.

Thanks to his experience as a journeyman carpenter and his passion for fine woods, Timothée Musset emphasizes the materiality of wood through various projects and collaborations. Between softness and brutality, the resolutely contemporary pieces of Atelier Musset give pride of place to ancestral woods.
